Keeping a 2,300-page tourism website moving

Visit Pembrokeshire, the official tourism body for Pembrokeshire, has a new website built by a specialist development studio, an SEO agency advising on it, and over a thousand local businesses relying on it. Our job sits in the middle, on Visit Pembrokeshire's side.

How it works

The starting point

In 2024 Visit Pembrokeshire commissioned a new headless website from a specialist development studio. With a developer and an SEO agency both involved, it needed someone on its own side who understood the business, the build and the search requirements, and could keep all three pulling the same way.

What we do

We were involved from the brief, and now turn Visit Pembrokeshire's needs into clear specs for the developer, from member sign-up to accreditation logos and an embed module for webcams and forms. We look after the copy and content in the CMS, run the regular digital meetings with the developer and the SEO agency, turn SEO recommendations into briefs that can be built within each month's budget, and report on how the site is doing.

What it means for Visit Pembrokeshire

The site keeps improving rather than standing still after launch. Every month the work is scoped, prioritised and built, the SEO advice turns into actual changes, and more than 2,300 pages stay accurate for the businesses and visitors who rely on them.
