Be the answer, not just a result

Ranking first matters less than it used to. What matters now is being the source that AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity quote when someone asks your question. We do both jobs: the organic foundations, and the work that gets you cited.

In short

What SEO and GEO mean for your business

SEO (search engine optimisation) helps your site rank in Google's results. GEO (generative engine optimisation) helps your business get named and quoted in AI answers from Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity. Both rest on the same foundations: a site that is easy to crawl, pages that answer real questions directly, and consistent facts about who you are.

What it covers

Technical SEO, content, structured data and visibility in AI answers

What we report

Rankings, citations in AI answers, and the search traffic that converts

Timescale

Technical fixes can move things in weeks. Content and authority take three to six months

How we charge

A monthly retainer sized to the site, quoted as a number rather than a range

Why your traffic can fall while your rankings hold

More searches now end without a click. The answer is assembled at the top of the page from sources the engine trusts, and the reader never scrolls. If your site is not structured so a machine can read and quote it, you can sit at position three and still lose the visit.

What we actually do

Technical foundations

Crawlability, indexation, internal linking and Core Web Vitals. The unglamorous work everything else sits on, fixed rather than listed.

Content built to be quoted

Pages organised around the questions buyers actually ask, with the answer in the first forty words underneath an answer-shaped heading. That is what gets lifted into an AI response.

Structured data and entity signals

Organization, Service, FAQPage, Article and Person schema, implemented and validated. One consistent name and address across your site, Google Business Profile, Companies House and social. An llms.txt that tells AI crawlers what you are.

What you get

A technical audit that is a prioritised fix list, not a sixty-page PDF.

A keyword and question map covering both search queries and AI prompts.

Schema implemented and validated on your site, not recommended in a document.

Monthly reporting on rankings, citations in AI answers, and the traffic that actually converts.

How it works

From invisible to quoted

01

Visibility check

Where you rank, which AI answers name you, and which competitors get named instead.

02

Fix the foundations

Crawling, indexing, speed and internal links, fixed on the site rather than listed in a report. More on websites.

03

Answer the questions

Pages built around what buyers ask, with a direct answer first and the detail underneath.

04

Prove who you are

Schema, one consistent name and address everywhere, and an llms.txt, so search engines and AI tools can trust the facts. Reported monthly.

Is this right for you?

A good fit if

People search for what you offer and competitors keep appearing above you, or getting named in AI answers instead of you. Or your traffic has dropped while your rankings look fine.

Probably not yet if

The site itself needs rebuilding. Then the rebuild comes first, with SEO built in, so you are not paying to optimise pages that are about to change.

Questions people ask

How long does SEO take to work?

Technical fixes can move things within weeks. Content and authority take three to six months before the trend is readable. Anyone promising faster is selling you something.

What is GEO?

Generative Engine Optimisation: the work of getting your business cited in AI-generated answers. It overlaps heavily with SEO but rewards different things, favouring clear structure, quotable statements and consistent entity signals over keyword density.

Do we need both SEO and GEO?

Yes, and they share most of the same work. Sites that are easy for an AI to quote tend to be sites that are easy for Google to rank.

How much does it cost?

Most clients work on a monthly retainer sized to the scope of the site. Tell us the site and we will give you a number rather than a range.

How can I check whether AI tools mention my business?

Ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google the question a customer would ask, such as who the best provider of your service is in your area, and note who gets named and which sites are cited as sources. Try a handful of questions. If competitors appear and you do not, that is the gap a visibility check measures properly.

What is schema markup?

Code on a page that tells search engines and AI tools exactly what it describes: your business, a service, a question and its answer, an article. Visitors never see it, but it makes your facts easier for machines to read and quote.

What is llms.txt?

A short plain-text file at the root of a website that tells AI crawlers what the business is and which pages matter most. It is a new and informal standard, so it is no guarantee of anything, but it costs little to add and points AI tools at the right pages.

Is SEO still worth it if AI gives the answer?

Yes. AI tools build their answers from pages they can find and trust, using many of the same signals search engines use. A site that ranks well and states its facts clearly is the one most likely to be quoted.

Find out whether you are being cited

Ask an AI assistant about your own industry and see who it names. If it is not you, that is the gap. We will run a visibility check and show you where you stand.
